Poem: Maybe Tomorrow

Here, I opened a safe space within words so that sadness and pain can exist without being rejected. Sometimes, what was left behind stands as a witness to who we were and all we have come through. This poem carries an echo, and that echo is also the voice of many

Maybe Tomorrow

The pain arrives. The sadness too.

The pain goes away.

The sadness stays.

Torn sadness,

unbearable emptiness,

an inconsolable breeze.

The inconstancy of life

The adverse in verses.

My sadness.

Only mine.

The sadness arrives. The pain too.

The sadness goes away.

The pain stays.

Torn pain,

unbearable emptiness,

an inconsolable breeze.

The inconstancy of life.

The adverse in verses.

My pain.

Only mine.

Maybe tomorrow, I’ll write something else.

Poema: Talvez Amanhã

Aqui abri um espaço seguro dentro das palavras para que a tristeza e a dor possam existir sem serem rejeitadas. Às vezes, o que ficou lá atrás serve como testemunha do que fomos e do que já conseguimos atravessar. Este poema tem um eco e este eco também é a voz de muita gente.

Talvez Amanhã

A dor chega. A tristeza também.

A dor vai embora.

A tristeza fica.

Tristeza rasgada,

vazios incontornáveis,

uma brisa inconsolável.

A inconstância da vida.

O adverso em verso.

Minha tristeza.

Só minha.

A tristeza chega. A dor também.

A tristeza parte.

A dor permanece.

Dor rasgada,

vazios incontornáveis,

uma brisa inconsolável.

A inconstância da vida.

O adverso em verso.

Minha dor.

Só minha.

Talvez amanhã, escreva outra coisa.
